Carbohydrates Per Day to Lose Weight

You would think that there is a catch in how to calculate your carbs per day to lose weight, wouldn’t you? I mean, who on earth would know how to go about calculating this, right? Well, I’m going to do it for you, and explain exactly how to do it. First of all, we all know that carbs are, generally speaking, the ”bad carbs”, as opposed to the good carbs. This is not very hard to figure out, actually.

All carbs are simply glucose, or blood sugar. Glucose is the same thing you would use to make bread, pasta, and potatoes. When you eat carbs, your blood glucose level spikes up and your body needs to use stored energy (in the form of glycogen) to bring it back down. This is what you would call a ”negative carb”. The key to eating carbs is moderation.

You see, all carbs are not created equal. In fact, there are certain types of carbs that are much more fattening than others. So, when you are calculating your carbs per day to lose weight, keep this in mind. These are the ”bad carbs”:

Brown rice, bagels, whole grain bread, oatmeal, and pastas are all fine foods to have. Remember that these are carbs. They provide you with energy and make sure your body keeps burning fat all day. On the other hand, the ”good carbs”: like corn, brown rice, whole grain bread, and pasta are great foods to eat during the day, as well as snacks throughout the day. By eating more carbs during the day, you can keep your weight loss goals more easily achieved.

To find your carbs per day to lose weight, try using the internet or any of the many diet books out there. You will be able to find out which carbs you need to watch out for. If you are not sure which ones you need to limit, get on a diet and see how your body reacts. Once you know what your carbs intake is, you can simply begin to eliminate those types of carbs from your diet. When you start eliminating them, you will find that your body will start to burn fat more efficiently.

Another quick way to figure out your carbs per day to lose weight is to take some time and write down everything that passes through your mouth throughout the day. If it is something that is easily digestible, put it on the list. That means if you drink any milk or other dairy products, make sure that it goes onto your list. Also, take note of anything that is a ”sugar buster”. These are foods that help curb your appetite so you don’t eat too much during the day.
